Todd Aughe, BA, Educational Mentor
Todd Aughe began working at Connections in August 2009 as a Community Mentor. In this role, he was able to successfully facilitate opportunities for children, teens, and young adults with developmental delays or behavioral health issues to participate in goal directed educational activities in the community. In the Fall of 2010, Todd transitioned into the role of Educational Mentor. He now provides behavioral support services in academic settings. Each day, Todd works collaboratively with classroom teachers to address the often intensive behavioral health needs of the identified student and together assure everyone’s health and safety. Todd has over fifteen years experience in working with youth as a volunteer in a church setting and staffing a local inner city youth center in Indianapolis. Todd has had a strong desire to work with young people since graduating high school. He feels passionately about helping young people do their best in achieving goals and be the best they can be in their community. In his spare time, he enjoys attending baseball games, watching auto racing, collecting comic books, reading mystery and suspense novel, and most importantly, he loves to spend time with his wife and daughter.
