Beverly Averitte, Residential Instructor

Beverly Averitte has been a Residential Support Instructor with Connections since 2002. Beverly provides individualized instructional and behavioral support services to young men, ages 18-22, with developmental disabilities residing in our supported living homes in downtown Indianapolis.  Beverly facilitates opportunities for these young adults to become fully physically and socially included into their homes and community by designing and implementing instructional plans to teach them basic living and communication skills. Prior to joining Connections, Beverly’s primary professional experience had been in providing informal counseling and mentoring services to children and teens with serious emotional issues in a secure treatment center.   Beverly also enjoys coaching basketball for youth at area schools.
