Beefy, AKC, Pet Therapist

Mr. Beefy (just Beef to us) joined our team in 2004. His primary role is just to be cute and make people laugh with his silly face.  He is also called to duty when children or teens are not feeling well and just need to talk to him. He’s also good at making them smile when they are sad or angry and teaching them to relate and care for others. Basically, his key responsibilities are to be a dog.

Beefy was born in Kentucky but now lives in Indianapolis.  Beefy’s hobbies include very short walks, playing tug of war, making new friends, hugs, and munching on greenies. Beefy was honored in 2009 as WTHR’s Colts Photo Contest Winner.  With over 12,000 downloads of his picture above, he earned two playoff tickets, a coffee mug, and the deepest appreciation from his human friends who went to the game in his absence!!
