Ginger Prunty, EMT, Educational Mentor

Ginger Prunty has been an Educational Mentor with Connections since 2008.  Ginger provides individualized instructional and behavioral support services to youth in area elementary schools. Ginger facilitates opportunities for these students to become fully physically and socially included into their school communities by designing and implementing instructional plans to teach them better communication and coping skills. Prior to joining Connections, Gingers professional experience had been in providing informal counseling to youth and adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting for several years.  Ginger also enjoys her work as a volunteer firefighter and is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician who provides Emergency Medical support on an ambulance in her “free” time every weekend!
