Brian Strand, BS, Finance Manager

Brian serves as a Finance Manager [a.k.a. "bean-counter"] with Connections.  In a prior life, he functioned as a software/systems engineer for roughly 10 years, primarily in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.  This experience is put to good use at Connections when the copy machine jams or when employees are having problems getting Solitaire to work on their computer!  This is his first exposure to the social service field, and after the initial shock of learning to talk to other people in the office during the day, he's thoroughly enjoying it! 
Brian received his BS in Electrical Engineering from IUPUI. In addition to his role at Connections, he is also now attending Duke University in Durham, NC to obtain his Juris Doctorate of Law in 2008.  Unfortunately, he can not get us basketball tickets. Brian enjoys a multitude of hobbies outside of work and studying including flying, playing in amateur pool leagues, and squeezing that latest shiny gadget into his kitchen.
