Nathan Taylor, Educational Mentor

Nathan Taylor functions as an Educational Mentor for our agency.  Since joining Connections in 1999, Nathan has provided educational and behavioral health support services to Indianapolis Public Schools and MSD of Wayne Township Schools.  Prior to joining our agency, Nathan provided behavioral support services to adults with mental health issues in a community based treatment program.

Nathan is strongly committed to supporting youth to be successful in school and passionately advocates for the rights of children in educational systems. Nathan has primarily worked with teens with autism spectrum disorders in the classroom and enjoys facilitating their inclusive education.  As a result of his dedication to his profession, Nathan received an annual award from the MSD of Wayne Township for his excellence in education of persons with disabilities.  Nathan also regular promotes and encourages all youth to make healthy choices for their lifestyle thru his efforts as a basketball and football coach for IPS.  Nathan is originally from Kentucky but has fortunately made Indianapolis his home. He is also the proud parent of a young adult son. He also has a twin brother, Nathaniel, who also works as a Mentor for Connections, Inc.
