On January 29th, 2009 Connections, Inc. celebrated it’s tenth year as a community based provider of behavioral health care and youth mentoring services to children, teens, and their families. While our agency now serves individuals across the State of Indiana, our exciting journey began in the fall of 1998 when Jenifer Asher and her sister, Amy, began providing school based services to a young man with autism in Westfield High School. Our ongoing gratitude to this young man, his family and the entire Hamilton Boone Madison Cooperative is immeasurable because the faith they placed in our “brand new” business was immense and led to our ultimate success. They shared our mission to promote the full physical and social inclusion of young people with developmental delays into their school communities and together we grew. Our young friend grew into a successful young man with his own home, hobby and career interests, and most importantly with loving friends and family. Meanwhile, Connections grew into an organization serving hundreds of youth and families affected by developmental delays or emotional health issues across the State.
Since the beginning, we were fortunate to develop a strong network of invested youth, parents, teachers, school administrators, law enforcement and State officials, and community partner agencies. Each sharing the desire to focus on the strengths of the youth and families we serve and offering their unique contributions to their success. Over the past ten years, our mission has been to help others achieve personally meaningful, safe, and healthy lives and we are grateful for the wonderful experience is has been. We thank all who have assisted us and we look forward with great excitement to the next ten years of opportunity and possibility.

Holiday Reunion Party for Former Connections Youth, Families, & Employees
If you or your family have ever participated in Connections services or if you are a former employee or business partner of our organization, we’d love for you to join us at our 10 Year Reunion Party on Saturday December 5th, 2009 at the Indianapolis Zoo. It will be wonderful to see everyone again and learn how we’ve all grown! Please email info@connections-inc.net with your name and to address to make sure you get final event details.
Evaluation Referrals Accepted
Connections, Inc. is again accepting referrals to our evaluation services and is available to complete psychological, psycho-educational, mental status or diagnostic evaluations for children and adults within no more than 21 days of referral. Emergency appointments are available as needed. Our team will also travel to correctional or detention facilities to meet with detained individuals as required. We are also certified to administer the CANS and ANSA evaluations and complete parenting assessments as requested.
